We are really looking forward to photographing Vicki and Adam’s wedding at South Farm, near Royston in September. Not only are they a lovely couple and easy to photograph, but it will be our first wedding at South Farm which is a beautiful venue with loads of photo opportunities.

As with any venue that we haven’t yet photographed, we went over to take a look at South Farm to take a few test shots and fell for the place. It may only be only a modest sized venue, but it is beautiful and has a lot of exquisite scenes to use for the creative shots. I can’t wait!

For the pre wedding photoshoot, we went for a stroll in the countryside at Hildersham, near Cambridge. Here’s a sample of what we got…….

Last weekend we had a fantastic time at the wedding of Jessica and Neil at Clavering in Essex.

Everyone hopes for a sunny day for their wedding, (except the photographer who has to deal with the light metering and harsh shadows), but on this particular day it was a blessing as rain would have caused real problems with the reception being held in a marquee nearby. (When i say nearby, it didn’t seem quite so near when lugging cameras, a step ladder and tripod through fields, over fences and through a wood!)

As it turned out, it was a scorcher of a day and the wedding was a relaxed and fun occasion with a hint of a quintessential English village fete, including a ‘wellie wanging’ competition and children’s fancy dress.
