Winter Photoshoot in Freezing Scotland.

This is traditionally a quiet time for wedding photography, which gives us time to do some other work, so despite the freezing cold weather, we recently completed a photoshoot at Linlithgow Palace in Scotland.

Our subject was Kirsten, a graduate from Edinburgh University, who wanted some pictures of her wearing her graduation ball dress. Despite temperatures hovering around zero degrees, Kirsten endured an hour and a half in the cold and posed beautifully throughout the shoot.  I certainly think it was worth the effort as the pictures are as dramatic as i had hoped they would be. Linlithgow Palace is an awesome building and is the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots.

Anstey Hall Recommends Aspect Photography.

We are pleased to announce that we are now a recommended wedding photographer at Anstey Hall in Cambridge.

Anstey Hall is a beautifully restored stately home in Maris Lane, Trumpington, Cambridge. The hall provides beautiful backdrops for wedding photography both inside and in the extensive grounds.

We are planning to put example albums on display at the hall in the near future, but in the meantime, our brochure is available when visiting Anstey Hall. Please ask Abigail for a copy.

For further information on weddings at Anstey Hall, please visit their website at www.ansteyhall.com To view more of our work, please visit our main website at www.aspectphoto.co.uk or click on any picture.

It’s Another Gold Award!

We are pleased to announce that another of Richard’s landscape pictures has won a Gold Award in The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers monthly competition in the Landscape Category.

The picture is of Buchaille Etiv Mor in Scotland and was taken on the same day and within half a mile of our previous landscape Gold Award winner.

Only 2 entries from 85 were selected as Gold level pictures and we are delighted as always to be chosen. The picture will be printed in the SWPP journal ‘Image Maker’ and will also be automatically entered into the annual competition at the SWPP convention next year.
